Internal Sales Executive Aimee Jordan spoke to us recently about what a typical day in the life looks like for her working at PFC Corofil. We got on to all sorts of topics, including the importance of passive fire protection within the construction industry, her work besties and how tacos are best complemented with a spicy margarita!
“I think that there is a good work feel, and we all get along really well, everyone is very supportive .”

Internal Sales Executive
What does your job involve?
So my job really focuses on things like Sales order processing, quotations and assisting customers with general enquiries. I also support Jon Scott and Heather Jones – our South-West Area Sales Manager day to day whilst also providing general customer service!
What have your first impressions of PFC Corofil been?
Good, I think that there is a good work feel, and we all get along really well, everyone is very supportive – and I’m excited about the improvements that can be made in the future, to take PFC even further!
What do you enjoy the most about your job?
Speaking to the customers – I’ve always understood the importance of making the customer happy, because they are the focal point of the company really! My background has been in customer service so it’s something I’ve been involved in previously, and I strive to bring that in to my work with PFC.
What does a typical day look like for you?
I come in, tell Dennis to get the kettle on – I have my tea, no sugar with milk! I Probably have some coco pops just before I log on for the day, it sets me up for the day!
Then I’ll clear my emails and take time responding to enquiries before I put my orders on.
My lunch is typically leftovers from the night before, but my absolute favourite is chicken salad, so it’s a good day when I have that!
Then I tend to just make sure that the quote log and order processing log are updated before the end of the day.
What makes PFC Corofil a good Company to work for?
It’s a really positive industry to be in because Passive Fire Protection is a necessary and important aspect within the industry
PFC itself is great to work for because they invest in their staff, with things like training, so that’s really good I think!
And finally, what do you like to get up to away from work?
Away from work, I go to the gym – and I’m into health and beauty, online shopping – socialising with my friends and family. If I’m going out for food then I LOVE Mexican, especially tacos with a nice spicy marg on the side, I recently visited Mexico in June! Was lucky enough to visit the Chichen Itza, one of the 7 wonders of the world!
