Our Sales Office Manager Nina Flowers gives us a rundown of her day-to-day activities at PFC Corofil, the favourite parts of her job, and what she enjoys getting up to when she’s not at work.
What does your job involve?
My job involves a number of different things really! I look after one of our major key accounts, I manage a sales team, and work closely with the operations and accounts teams on a daily basis. I also support the external sales teams and work closely with the technical team!
What do you enjoy the most about your job?
I really enjoy the challenges I face on a daily basis, there can be issues with suppliers, and I find it rewarding to ensure the best
outcome, and provide excellent service to customers. I enjoy coming to work with a team that I have very good relationships with, I don’t dread coming in and look forward to it, which is good!
What does a typical day look like for you?
A typical day for me would generally involve the following:
- Managing our sales team
- Managing our national key account
- Export
- Forecasting for stock control
What makes PFC Corofil a good Company to work for?
I’d say for me, watching PFC grow and what it is going to grow into makes it a good company to work for! Seeing where it was in 2014
compared to where it was now. I started in logistics into sales, into key account management into management. So, it’s been an exciting journey both for PFC Corofil and for me!
And finally, what do you like to get up to away from work?
Away from the office I love spending quality time with my 2-year old daughter, I enjoy taking long walks at the weekend to grab a coffee with friends/family.
