Throughout my working life I have been passionate about operations. I enjoy being challenged to hit targets and am driven by trying to implement continuous improvements that will benefit the business.

What does your job involve?
I am the Operations Manager: this involves being responsible for health and safety, compliance, quality, production, logistics and all building and plant related requirements.
What do you enjoy the most about your job?
The most enjoyable aspect of the job is the variation, no two days are the same which is challenging but rewarding.
What does a typical day look like for you?
A typical day generally involves numerous different tasks: managing the operations team, ensuring all health and safety issues and checks are completed, making sure all servicing and maintenance is up to date, dealing with quality control, liaising with customers and the sales team in relation to manufacturing and logistical plans.
What makes PFC Corofil a good Company to work for?
PFC Corofil is a good company to work for because of the team. It is a very fast paced and proactive environment which can only be effective if the staff have a positive approach.
And finally, what do you like to get up to away from work?
Outside of work I have always been involved in football and have played all my life. Unfortunately, age has caught up with me now and the legs no longer respond in the way my brain expects them to 😂. I also enjoy socialising; I have a large friendship group because of football and we have a ‘lads’ trip planned to Tenerife to celebrate a few of us turning 50… Twenty-one boys on the beer could spell trouble for Tenerife! I also love to spend time with my family.
