One of our Area Sales Managers – Kyle Morgan, took some time out of his busy schedule to talk to us about the day-to-day responsibilities of his job, what he enjoys the most about working at PFC Corofil and how much he loves singing Paulo Nutini in his car!
What does your job involve?
I am an external sales manager, so my job focuses mainly on visiting customers, on site and so on! I’m hoping that this will soon to be encompassing specifiers too, such as Architects and Presenting CPDs to them!
So I guess you could say that I provide responses for first line technical and pricing enquiries and am out in front of the customer!
What do you enjoy the most about your job?
Sort of like what I’ve already said, I really enjoy getting out and being face to face with people, whilst being able to get involved at a technical level too.
Being external also means that I can blast my Spotify playlists and work on my singing on the way to see customers – Paulo Nutini in particular!
What does a typical day look like for you?
A typical day for me would probably involve spending my mornings from around 7am onwards answering enquiries. Then, from there, I typically aim to do between 2 and 4 customers visits a day.
As part of my job I do 4 days externally, so 1 day is left for all the admin!
What makes PFC Corofil a good Company to work for?
Like most people who’ve done this already, I would have to say the people! There is such a good family feel about the place, and while everyone is up for a good laugh, it is also very driven environment with an overwhelming amount of support from the team!
And finally, what do you like to get up to away from work?
Away from work I spend a lot of time riding the mountain bike and socialising with my friends and family!
